Tottenham Hotspur hosts Brighton & Hove Albion at their North London stadium on Saturday afternoon, looking to win their sixth straight Premier League match.

Last Saturday, the Seagulls soared to a 4-1 triumph against M23 derby rivals Crystal Palace, while the Lilywhites squandered two one-goal leads in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Everton.

Tottenham and Brighton: Previous Games

Brighton & Hove Albion, now in eighth position in the Premier League, will be hosting Tottenham, who are in fifth place. Tottenham will seek vengeance in this match after losing 4-2 in last month’s rematch against the Seagulls. Winning against Brighton would put Spurs within striking distance of fourth-place Aston Villa, who are just two points behind them. Villa will not play again until they entertain Manchester United the following day.

Since their loss at Brighton, Tottenham have won all four league games. With four consecutive victories at home in the Premier League, they now have an 8-1 record. Both sides have scored in their past seven league matches played at home and in all but one of their previous fourteen matches played at the top level.

Despite being in eighth place, Brighton’s away league record keeps them from moving up a spot. They had a solid start to the season, winning three of their eleven games. They have won only one of their previous nine Premier League road games. They lost their most recent road game, 4-0 against Luton Town. They have failed to score in three of their past four league road games. Last Saturday, they won 4-1 at home against Crystal Palace, resuming their scoring run.

Probable Tottenham Lineup

Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Hojbjerg; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Richarlison

Probable Brighton Lineup

Verbruggen; Van Hecke, Igor, Dunk; Hinshelwood, Gross, Gilmour, Lamptey; Buonanotte, Pedro; Ferguson

Betting tips: Tottenham x Brighton

Check out our predictions of the day for Tottenham vs. Brighton

Prediction 1: Tottenham x Brighton / Tottenham to win

The Seagulls haven’t been able to build on a solid performance in recent weeks, and their offensive exploits on the road are disappointing. However, it is unclear whether their thrashing of Palace is the beginning of a steady run.

Even though Tottenham still hasn’t won a game convincingly at home in 2024, they have a penchant for home victories, and Son’s comeback has given them a much-needed boost, so Postecoglou’s free-scoring team should still come out on top.

Prediction 2: Tottenham x Brighton  / Over 2.5 goals

In three of the previous six encounters between these two teams, the combined score was more than 2.5 goals.

There have been at least three goals scored in four of Tottenham’s previous six matches in all competitions, with both sides scoring. In three of Brighton’s last five matches, both sides scored, and the total number of goals was above 2.5, which is another reason we have BTTS  and over 2.5 goals as our major prediction.

Prediction 3: Tottenham x Brighton /  Richarlison to score anytime

This season in the Premier League, Richarlison has scored ten goals. With nine goals in his last ten games in all competitions, the Brazilian attacker is currently riding high. We believe he has what it takes to score anytime against Brighton.
